This is another step into reading book. These books are vital because students can work towards reading these alone.

The Pooh adore-ables series continues to live up to its name, offering up the cutest little baby versions of the Pooh friends. This rhyming board book has them playing Pooh Sticks and flying kites as part of their friendly playtime.

I especially love the cavalier little "bye-bye" thrown out when Eeyore and Piglet find themselves in moments of peril, carried off by a stream and a kite respectively. It really adds a deliciously dark undertone, a spicy zest to the cute-fest.

This book was terrible! Illustrations were adorable, but the strategies for getting Chick to sleep would all wake Chick up. I don’t want to encourage nighttime pillow fights and dance parties! Why wasn’t it lullabies, cuddles and breathing? Soft music? Don’t give them bad ideas!

There is not a lot to read in this book, but toddlers absolutely love lifting the flaps to discover the hidden surprise.

A short and fairly basic touch and feel book. It's main selling point is probably that it's Grumpy Cat (a popular online cat named "Tard" for those who don't know. She just happens to have a grumpy face). A unicorn wants to pet Grumpy Cat, who does not want to be petted.

One thing I like about this book is that it encourages very important practice with animal interaction. Do not touch animals that want to be left alone.½

One of my favorite Disney movies, Monsters Inc tells the story of monsters who work to scare children in the human world in order to provide energy for their city. When a little girl enters their world, Mike and Sully must find a way to get her back to her world without anyone knowing. To me this story shows facing your fears, standing up to important people, and caring enough about others to make sure they are safe. I think this children's book did the movie justice in getting all of the important information in it.

If your little ones love Frozen, they'll love this Christmas Frozen book featuring Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. The pages are beautifully illustrated and glittery!

Summary: This book introduces Olaf, Elsa and Anna's friendly snowman who wishes for all things warm: like hugs, the beach, and hot tubs. The Step into Reading series features basic text that young readers can tackle on their own.

this book is written by Andrea Posner-Sanchez and was published in 2009 by Random House Disney. It is classified as a Fantasy. In Cinderella's Fairy Merry Christmas, Cinderella is dreaming of having the best Christmas ever. It is her first Christmas with the Prince and the first Christmas she has spent at the castle. Cinderella, Jaq, and Gus are having a little trouble with the decorations. However, Fairy Godmother comes to save the day. The four of them work together to make this Christmas perfect. As a result, Cinderellas dream of having the best Christmas ever with the prince comes true!

This book would be a great book for children from grades k-sixth. Especially, this book would be a good read for little girls. Even if the child could not read, the illustrations do a great job describing the story. Moreover I think the illustrations do a great job with pulling in the reader. They are very detailed, and realistic drawings. The story has a great meaning of teaching kids that gifts do not have to be big and fancy, gifts from the heart are what's important.

When it comes to rating books that my girls choose for the characters, I am torn. On the one hand, they really love these books. On the other hand, I don't. As is the case with most books written to capitalize on popular television shows, the story here is bland. Jake, Izzy, and Cubby are making shadows. They make one that resembles a treasure chest, and Captain Hook comes to steal it. When he arrives, the children are making a crocodile shadow, which frightens Hook. The thick-headed captain doesn't believe them when they explain it is just shadow play, so they make a shadow of treasure to reassure the pesty pirate. He stalks off in indignation, and runs into the real tick-tock croc on his way back to his ship. Of course, he mistakes the animal for a shadow, and needs Smee to rescue him.

The story lacks substance, and feels like a simplified adaptation of one of the television shows. However, even an episode of the animation would have more action than this book. The point that Captain Hook thinks a real crocodile is just another shadow is too absurd for my suspension of belief. However, it is a light-hearted read, with familiar characters engaged in a fun game, and my daughters basically are just happy to spend a little time with beloved characters. The illustrations are fine - they are exactly like the animation from the show. For these positive points I raise my rating a little higher, even if such a story could never stand on its own without the support of already established and popular characters.

Doc McStuffins is a TV series. A Knight in Sticky Armor is a book based on the series. Books based on TV series that children like can encourage children to read. In this book Doc McStuffins is a little girl who enjoys pretending to be a doctor to her toys. This provides a good role model for girls. She gives Sir Kirby, a knight action figure, a check up. She solves his sticky sickness by giving him a bath. Nothing very exciting happens, but the book does go into some detail about what happens in a check up.
