This was a very well-done shape-shifter romance with suspense. I was thrilled with the relationship between Luke and Macey. The case with demons was interesting, and it made a nice background for the pair to fall in love. I was immersed in the book wholeheartedly from the beginning to the end and read it in one sitting. I recommend it to every reader who loves a good werewolf romance!

Everything in the core conflict is contrived bs and the solution is far too easy. All the conflict is too easily solved.
The MC is disgustingly perfect.
Beyond that, it's just pure fluff.

This story brings out the giggles if you've ever used a dating app. I can relate to the whole story here and I had my husband wondering if I had lost it. What a fun story! Gabe and Katrina start out on an amazing adventure. Nothing like starting out trying to put each other out of business. Can they come to a happy medium? I'm not telling. You'll have to read it to find out. And while you're at it, pick up the rest of the series, this is a quick read series that will give you serious cases of the giggles. Well-written and I love how it all flows so together so smooth. The characters are just so like the rest of us (only not quite human). The struggle is real, no matter what you are. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I am highly recommending it to all.

Gods of Olympus, now Seattle, with an MC club, is such a fantastic idea. Hermes is the God of speed and thieves. His ego is pretty large. Kathryn of NOG enters his life to deliver a package to the underworld for Hades. Trouble with a capital T starts on page 1 and just continues until the end of the book. Kat is a calico shifter and a thief herself. She is on the path to redemption but the knots in her lifeline are numerous according to The Fates. Hermes feels she is the one. Pan, the nemesis, is such a schmuck. He gets what's coming to him and it will surprise you. Kat and Hermes find that they are both strong individual but together they are much stronger and make a great team. Wonderful humor scattered throughout, innuendos that will roll your eyes, and lots of fun adventure. Highly recommend.

New to the supernatural world, Sophie is struggling to uncover the secrets of her late grandmother’s witchy abilities. Unfortunately for her, she was also bitten by a werewolf and is running out of time until the next full moon. At the same time, the werewolf who bit her, Trace, has been tasked with finding the source of a curse placed on his pack – never mind the attraction he feels towards his main suspect: Sophie. Though the story was short, I loved every second of this hilarious, yet steamy, paranormal romantic comedy. I can’t wait to see what’s in store in this world of the New Orleans Nocturnes Series!

A werewolf culture that is a cross between a business empire and the Masons; demons that seem more like vampires - translocating in a puff of smoke, and disintegrating into a pile of ash when killed - the whole thing felt like a blend of Dallas and X-men seasoned with a dash of Aliens.

It was a struggle to finish, largely because the paranormal elements seemed to be constructed simply to provide obstacles for the romance and quickly became unbelievable. The romance itself kept going over the same ground without really progressing.

The book didn’t work for me. Sadly, this author is going onto my ‘don’t bother’ list

I was given this book for a honest review-

I gave this book 3 stars- it was only fifty some-odd pages so it's hard to really rate it. It was super cheesy and cliche but in the grand scheme of things not horrible. The author did a decent job telling the story in such a short amount of pages. It's hard to really like characters when you only given snippets of them. Overall not bad,

Great quick read. The best part about this short read was Jessica and Trevor finding each other again.
Jessica had a crush on Trevor during high school. Trevor also had a crush on Jessica during high school, neither one act on the crush. They go their separate ways and meet up several years later.

Trevor fulfilled Jessica's sexual fantasy, but he is not the one assisting her in reaching her ultimate fun. When he asks her out again she readily accepts.

I read this in about 15 minutes. This would be a perfect read before sleeping (or not) one night.

The bunnies and I give this book 4 carrots.

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

This was a quick erotic read right from page one. Sparks fly between the two main characters Andre and Miranda. There;s a little plot to go with the intense sexual desires- Andre's demon hunting with the intent to send the vile creature back to hell. He didn't anticipating having to make Miranda a part of him in order to save her life-

I enjoyed the fast pace of this read. The sexual scenes were hot with a keen focus that really drew the reader in. If you're looking for something quick and easy to read- this is the story to pick up.

(Originally posted on SnarkyMomReads where I read the book in exchange for the review.)

SNARKY MOM'S THOUGHTS: Yep, I was given a copy & I read it. Escorting Jessica by Carrie Pulkinen is a 48 page read for $1.99. (Ouch!) Since it IS so short, you really have to give the author some leeway & realize that hey - it's called FICTION for a reason, and in fiction, your characters can do whatever the hell you want & they don't have to explain why if they were so hung up on you, and knew you were in the same town, they never tried to get in contact, or.... Oh, wait. That's right. Short. Fiction. Get in, get out. And wow - does Trevor get in & out! He runs an escort agency with special "services" offered - his research has shown that women fantasize about being pleasured by multiple men at once (well, duh - it's a simple matter of math & dexterity LOL) and he offers this service to Jessica. Now, this is where the reader can really go off into la-la vajajay land, because really - Jessica got to just lie back and do nothing but enjoy the attention of the equivalent of an octopus. It all wraps up very nicely with a HEA, too. Again, QUICK read - but if you need a little something-something to get the brain waves moving after a day of dealing with the kids, in order to get in the mindset to be a WIFE... this would be a great choice!

Allison accompanies her friend Tina to a party at Logan Mitchell’s home. Allison is her wingman as Tina networks and looks for slutty sex. Allison does not have a good impression of the people who attend these types of parties. Looking across the room she makes eye contact with Logan and feels a connection with him. Running from him she meets a woman in white who is crying. Allison tries to help her but the emotions she picks up from this woman are so strong that Allison is unable to stay or help the woman in Carrie Pulkinen’s TO CATCH A SPIRIT. Logan tries to find Allison but he has his own issues to deal with.

Allison and Logan are great characters. I like that both come with baggage and flaws. Allison carries guilt from the death of her parents that she has not come to grips with. Logan is obsessive-compulsive. Watching each try to deal with their problems alone is tough. As a reader, you know they will work better together and you want that so bad, you root for them. I groaned as they both try to be altruistic and let the other go. I wanted them together because they worked so well as one.

The story was interesting. Allison is psychic who has dealt with the dead in the past so they will pass over. A bad experience the previous year has kept her from helping the dead as she helps the living. But she has to face that past as well as her other issues. Logan also has to face his past and make peace with it. He has to deal with his OCD and suicidal thoughts as well as a ghost in his house.

Neither character is perfect but they are perfect together. I hope this is the first of a series. I would like to know what happens with the secondary characters and I want to know that Allison and Logan make it as a couple.

A single mum who swore off ‘needing a man’, and an ethereally beautiful man who appears to shatter that resolution to bits. Cleverly combining real life issues with the fantastical to create a story that sets your romantic notions aflame, the author has created a story that begs to be read to the conclusion.

As children, we believe in magic and the impossible and then life interrupts and removes that ability to believe in things that are not of the norm. Jules was quietly living a life and was content being a mum and provider, or so she thought. Enter Ian, the man to set all of those ‘childish’ romantic notions aside, and Jules suddenly finds herself enmeshed in the world of the impossible, or so she believed.

With a premise that will have you wondering just what will happen next, and a romance that feels real, even with the unanswered questions, the author has created a very worthwhile read with a happily for now that will have you hungry for the next chapter. Written with a deft hand, we see little peeks into Ian’s real age with his conversation, reminiscent of a day gone by and his chivalrous, near impossible to find manner. Jules is very much the modern woman, independent and rather conflicted by feeling protected and safe within a man’s arms. Their interaction and development feels natural, Ian has a calming effect on Jules, although her matter-of – fact acceptance of the ‘things that go bump in the night’ was rather glossed over and felt a bit unrealistic. It was not enough to detract from the story, although left a little niggling thought in my brain. More distracting, however, was the irregularities in pacing – from fast to near snail-like, the real issue this book only rated a 4 stars from me. I will look forward to reading the next in this series, or any other title by this author, as I feel she is certainly one to watch with much skill and talent that is still developing.

I received an eBook copy from author for purpose of honest review with tour hosted by Full Moon Bites. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Okay. It's about vampires, but the good news is that Carrie Pulkinen creates a unique take on the vampire stories in her book Reawakened.

Jules is a regular woman who has had a hard life but nothing extremely extraordinary until she meets Ian. His Scottish accent is enough to make any woman swoon, but there is something more. Something about him seems off yet just right. He's a vampire but claims to be much more than that for her and her alone. The next thing you know, her life is turned upside down and memories surface that have been suppressed that will help save her and her daughter's life.

I love it when an author can take something that is common such as the vampire stories and almost overly done like the vampire stories and come up with something new and refreshing. Carrie Pulkinen has done just that. In fact, though Ian is a vampire, that is not the focus of the story, and I like that. There is so much more to this which makes it an enjoyable read.

The pace is relatively fast but not too much. You can easily set the book down and pick it right back up where you left off without breaking a sweat. The plot is very well done with several twists and turns. A few of them even caught me off guard.

There was some confusion at one point in the story as things began to unravel and be revealed. I can't say too much in the details as it would be a spoiler, but I had to read a few sections over again and some details were still not clear. There were also some language in it though it was very minor. The sex was extremely limited though there were many extremely hot scenes that were just a taste of what was to come.

An enjoyable read that I recommend.

Note: This book was provided as part of a book tour with no expectation of a positive review.
