This is an excellent introduction to learning about saving money for the young student. Newly independent and confident readers should be able to work through this beginning nonfiction chapter book with a minimum of assistance. More difficult words such as "account" and "paycheck" are highlighted in bold in the text and defined in the glossary. There are full-color photographs throughout the book that highlight the concept being discussed.

Kids Making Money introduces children to the different ways adults earn money from jobs and helps them think about age-appropriate jobs kids can do too.
