This was okay - cute and fun, I always enjoy when the modern "real world" gets mixed with fantasy D&D style world (see also: Advanced Desks & Dividends by Audrey Redpath & Mari Costa).

My one complaint was the art didn't stay consistent. The first issue is solid, but it goes back and forth on crispness for the back three issues, it was sometimes distracting.

This was a really cute and lighthearted read! Perfect for fantasy lovers suck in the real world dreaming of adventure. Very RPG. Lots of really funny easter eggs scattered around the pages.

I thought this was a fun book. It makes me want to read the others in this series. There's a lot of puke in this volume, fair warning. The style reminds me a bit of Venture Brothers. I received this from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Interesting 1st issue. I wasn't really captivated by the story or plot or the dialogue. The artwork is one of a kind. I love all the little hidden details. I met Kristen Gudsnuk at Big Apple Con 2016 and she signed my copy of Henchgirl. I have to read it after reading this.

Grumble: Memphis and Beyond the Infinite

This graphic comic is a teen, sci-fi that has just about everything in it. A smart mouth crook in a Pug's body, his daughter that's half demon, having to work together with crazy wrestling uncles, on a space adventure to break out his daughter's mom from a space prison! Nothing to it!

Great colors, art work, font was easy to read, flowed well. Interesting story line. Only problem I had was I didn't know the back story except for the blurb. It would be best to read the earlier books first. I figured it out but it would be nice to know the full story. Only way to do that is to pick up earlier books.
Love the cover! Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me read this book!

I was introduced to the Harbingers via the Faith spin-off title, which I love and adore. So I was really excited to see that this was available for review. Unfortunately, this just did not do it for me. I liked the diversity in the cast, but the plot was all over the place. This could, of course, just be because I wasn't really familiar with what had happened in this universe prior to the Faith title starting. But I spent the entire comic feeling like I was missing huge chunks of plot and could not catch up.

Despite the "Vol 1", this is not a title for newcomers to the Harbinger universe. I had hoped it would be a good place for a newbie like me to start, but I guess not.
