Val Runge

Val M. Runge, MD, the lead author, is considered an early pioneer in clinical MR and is recognized for demonstrating the potential of intravenous contrast media in MR. specifically the gadolinium chelates. He is an author of more than 200 peer-reviewed papers published in the scientific literature, toon meer and the editor of fourteen textbooks, all focused on the field of MR. Dr. Runge has given more than 600 presentations at national and international meetings and medical schools across North America, Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea and China. He has been Editor-in-Chief of Investigative Radiology, one of the top ranked PubMed journals in the field of diagnostic radiology, since 1994. Dr. Runge has also been an editorial board member for the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Topics in Magnetic Resonance Imaging since the inception of both journals. toon minder
