An interesting collection of short stories. Some are weird and have an unexpected twist in the tale while others make you think about life. In most of the stories, the author has included Rodriguez as a cameo character and alludes to this by describing a person in black. Well written

I bet I CAN do these puzzles. They were on the hard side, but not ridiculously so. I did have 5 wrong squares in the 75 15x15 puzzles. However, one was due to an editing error where the crossing did not work both ways (#71, 16A/11D). The last puzzle would have been right at home as an ACPT puzzle 5.

At my level, I shouldn't be buying books for 5th graders, so I can't really complain that these weren't crosswords but quizlike criss-crosses. I was going to return the book, but decided these puzzles on topics like explorers, capitals, aviation, math, antonyms, etc. couldn't hurt. It was OK. Still, it's better suited for less hardcore solvers.
