Maggie is working as a waitress when she catches the attention of billionaire Chase. He sees something intriguing in her and arranges to meet her. Very quickly they fall in love/lust and in bed, but then are separated by circumstances.
I've read other books by this author and I really liked the way she wrote Maggie. Maggie is smart and hard-working though I was a bit confused by the instant attraction to Chase. I would have like the relationship to develop a little more before they have sex. It wasn't addressed, but I found it confusing that apparently neither Maggie or Chase felt they needed to use protection though I understand that the results of that led to a plot point, Maggie's pregnancy.
I didn't care for Chase much at all. He's kind of a spoiled brat, but is supposed to be running a mega company at the same time. He's CEO, but his father has all the say, even who he's supposed to marry. There were some plot holes too; it's not reasonable to expect that Chase couldn't hire some good PIs who would find Maggie before six months went by. After all, she was working, paying rent, etc so all those records are available online or in other data bases. By waiting so long, it was hard to believe that Chase was so in love with her that he'd defy his father. Even after he found her, he basically blew her off most of the time.
Still, it's an interesting interracial romance that made me curious as to Chase's father will do next.… (meer)

Bound to the Prince is the second book in the Nabalar Prince series and continues on from the first. Ariella is married to Mirsux, the prince of Nabalar and it is up to them to save the people of the planet. Ariella has doubts though she is greatly attracted to her new husband.
When the prince from another planet threatens their marriage, it is up to Ariella to save them all.
The world-building continues to be interesting and I read the story quickly as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Now I can't wait to see what happens next!

Kissed by the Alien Prince is the first book in the Nabalar Prince series. It is a quick and interesting read. Ariella is co-pilot on a space ship that loses power. When she and the captain, Delvin, escape in the shuttle, they're caught in a worm hole that has them crashing on the planet Nabalar. It is a planet much like Earth except for the flesh-eating beasts trying to kill them and the humanoid and very handsome alien prince, Mirsux. Delvin is also hiding a secret from Ariella that might complicate matters.
This is an engaging fantasy story. I really liked the different language that the people of Nabalar use and how the humans constantly misinterpret what is being said. There were some inconsistencies I didn't understand, such as why the flesh-eating beasts would want to cook their meal sometimes and other times just rip their victims apart. I'd give this a 3 1/2 stars and I was intrigued enough that I want to read the next in the series.… (meer)
