Elfi Schlegel

Elfi Schlegel is one of Canada's brightest gymnastic lights. She was a member of the Canadian National Team from 1976 to 1985, won two gold medals at the 1978 Commonwealth Games, and in 1979 won a team gold and individual bronze medal at the Pan Am Games. She has worked as a sports commentator with toon meer NBC and CBC Sports covering 11 Olympic Games. She continues to freelance as well as operate a recreational gymnastics centre for children in Oakville, Ontario. She lives in Toronto with her husband and three children. Claire Ross Dunn is a writer, editor and creative producer. She has written extensively for television, written editorials for CBC Radio and the Globe and Mail, and has story edited two feature films.
