I'm always on the lookout for New Adult reads that aren't just romances so this one immediately grabbed my attention. I love unconventional stories since they always surprise me. And what is more unconventional than a boy who tries to solve the disappearance of the girl he is obsessed with--when he is the prime suspect?

I LOVED the mystery aspect of the plot. I had no idea what happened to Rosalyn and that captured my attention from the start. There's so much intrigue and little complications along the way that keeps you guessing.

I liked that all these characters were unreliable in one way or another. You don't know who to root for or who you can trust so I loved how that contributed to my reading experience. Having multiple POVs also helps to drive the story as well, providing a 360 view of everything that is happening.

Such a refreshing read in this genre and I am so glad I picked this up!

A tongue in cheek approach to the killer shark scary movie genre, One Pissed Off Shark by Zack Scott is a humorous adventure that will amuse and entertain the reader. It starts off with predictions about which of the characters will die first at the hands, rather the mouths of the deadly sharks. Very funny and could be laugh out loud funny for some. This book certainly makes fun of the youngish 20's crowd who sadly, get killed off one by one in many "scary" movies. Sarcastically written, Zack Scott has created an over the top book with stereotypes of the jock, the jock's girlfriend, the African American guy, the delusional romantic, the hot slut, the funny overweight person, and the hipster prude. Wonderfully gory and funny at the same time, this book is light diversion.… (meer)
