I am not sure that I could fall for an alien wearing ram's horns and as big as a house, but I loved the suspense these two authors hit me with from the very first page! The action was intriguing and had me happily reading. I liked Ren from the first as she held my dream job. With her smarts and an inner sense to do what was right, I admired her dedication and love for all life. The big dummy, Rhavos had been trained that every species was inferior to his and he had no use for humans. Why his friends took Earth women was beyond him and cringed as the women had their husbands wrapped around their small fingers! That was until he saw one woman on the floor of the underground haven with big brown eyes and a bruise on her face............… (meer)
