Shazzie

Shazzie was born in Yorkshire, England on 23rd of January 1969. At the age of 16 she became a vegetarian and was an ethical vegan 2 years later. At the age of 30, Shazzie became a raw foodist for health reasons. Becoming a raw foodist was an intrinsic part of her journey towards mental, spiritual and physical freedom. Fear no longer held Shazzie back and everything in her life altered rapidly. Because of her open, honest and personable writings, Shazzie attracts around 10,000 visitors to her web site every day. Shazzie was so overwhelmed by the positive effects of the raw food diet, that she vowed to raise awareness of this natural way of eating in the UK and beyond.

Though her background was in graphic, web and GUI design, she slowly turned her attention to healthy living via her company Rawcreation Ltd, which she founded in June 2000. She now employs about 15 people and Rawcreation has three distinct sections to it:

•Publishes fine educational materials

•Retails over 700 genuine health products at www.detoxyourworld.com

•Wholesales to ethical companies worldwide and the UK's main importer of some of the best organically certified superfoods.

In addition, Shazzie has written four books: Detox Delights, Detox Your World, Naked Chocolate, co-authored with USA raw food guru David Wolfe, and Evie's Kitchen. She is currently writing Ecstatic Beings with Kate Magic. Shazzie also has a range of raw organic chocolate bars (Temptress, Goddess, Siren, Intacta, Desire and Empress), which have proved successful beyond her imagination. In 2004, Shazzie gave birth to her beautiful daughter Evie. She's also a raw foodist. She was breastfed until her fourth birthday, she's unvaccinated, co-sleeps and is as natural as someone can be in the UK! She's happy, intelligent and very healthy. Shazzie and Evie live together in Cambridge, UK. Shazzie has appeared in the media on numerous occasions over the past decade. Though she's a committed full-time mother, she still speaks at some events on the subjects of Love, Life, Liberty and Divinity.
