This book turned out to be a wonderful surprise. A protagonist with a chance to take revenge but takes the high road. A sexy man of her dreams betrothed to another in a marriage of convenience but wants her. An antagonist who is a “witch.” This book had me laughing, and experiencing many other emotions as I read Jasmine’s story of love and betrayal. This is a fascinating story that will engage you from the start. You will find yourself on the emotions roller coaster as you read. I am a big fan of Jasmine as she came into her self-confidence and stood up for herself. I found the characters well-developed. You knew who the protagonists and antagonists were. It’s a quick read. I read through it on New Year’s Eve. Great read for snowy night’s with a comfy blanket and hot chocolate. Good read.… (meer)
