I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dorothy and hearing her speak about her book. My grandmother grew up with her brother Alex and lived on the next street. I cannot express how grateful I am to the author for writing this piece of nearly-forgotten history. I believe this book is essential for people young and old to learn about the horrors of the Holocaust and it provides both the emotional and informational tools to stop antisemitism in its tracks.… (meer)
