I'm apparently reading Westerns now because this is the second one within a month and it was better then the last one! It's also in the Youth Reader category but it will appeal to the adult reader even more! Taste these lines: "Beller stank like dead fish and skunk." (from Chapter 11) and "Dense fog settled like a heavy quilt over Whisky Creek." (from Chapter 29) and savor how a few words tossed together by a talented author can immerse you so completely.
