D.M. Simmons

I was and am already a fan of D.M.'s from her fantasy series. Yet, she won me over more with this book. Never Tear Us Apart gives me the nostalgia vibes of summertime and first-time real love. This book is a must read.

The love that Cruz and Elle shared is full of emotions...tender, passionate, taboo but above all "real". Each scene between them got better and better. Crus did give off touch her and d!e vibes, which means that he loved Elle that much.

While these two are side characters, Jenica and Jake, I did really enjoy every time that they made appearances in the story.

What secrets does Elmhurst have and who will survive them? That is what I want to know and can't wait to read book two.… (meer)

Dark, steamy, and tense? Yes please! This was a mind-blowing follow-up to book one, and I wasn’t disappointed. This one will have you feeling all the feels while turning up the heat. Dante and Diablo are amazing MCs, and while the ending was satisfying and wrapped things up, I am sad to leave them behind. I loved getting to know more about how it all started, and learn more about their histories. Once again Simmons draws you in right away, and there are enough twists in the story to keep you turning pages and wondering where you’ll end up next. You do need to read book one first, but it’s a duology you don’t want to miss.… (meer)

A warning - the slow-burn will absolutely kill you. Simmons does an amazing job teasing you, building up the tension between Dante and Diablo. The world building was amazing, and it was easy to just step right into the story. The story itself is engaging, and there’s a major twist (but no spoilers, you’ll have to read if you want to know what it is)! I think my favorite part of the book overall was the characters, however. How unique they are and how they mesh together will just warm your heart. Cannot recommend for anyone looking for a fresh, new paranormal romance!… (meer)

I am glad to read this book but at the same time also it is bittersweet as I am really grown so close to everyone that it is sad to see this series end. Yet, this book ends this series on a high note. There is some much to unpack in this book with the bombshells being dropped about Declan, Kai, and Luca!

I loved seeing Nev and her guys interacting with each other. There is so much love between them all. Every time the guys call her "Baby Girl" or ours, my heart flutters. They are one of my favorite relationship.

I was not sure if I was ready for the showdown between the group and Luke but D.M. did not let me down. You can't believe how excited I am to read about the new books to come from this interconnected world. This book is every thing and more!… (meer)
