The concept of Aatmic Science or Science of Soul itself raises a two-fold question. First, whether something like Soul exists; and secondly, if at all it exists, can it be known by a scientific method?
We can all see that the world is in a continuous state of flux. No two things, no two faces, no two human beings are the same. Here a question arises: Is there not something which does never change, which is not temporary and transitory and which is the unchangeable substratum on which all the changes of the phenomenal world become perceptible to us? That something which does not change, but which is the cause of all changes, is what is called God. Soul is considered to be the spark of God which resides in every being.
The existence of soul has been an issue of debate among intellectuals, scientists and the wise people from time immemorial and some great personalities of the world have come out with answers to it. The Vedas, the Upanishads and the Gita describe Atman or Soul which is unchangeable, immutable, immortal and eternal. In its microcosmic form it is Atman or Soul; in its macrocosmic form it is Paramatman or Universal Soul, what is conceptualized in philosophy as the Absolute and what is venerated in religion as God.
Now we come to the second part of the question: Can Soul be known by a scientific method? To answer this question, we must know what scientific method of knowledge is. If we restrict ourselves to its conventional methodology – observation, experimentation and verification – one may be inclined to deny any role to intuition in the field of science. However, the history of modern science shows that intuition has played a great role in all major discoveries of scientific truths. The great rishis of the Vedic age, in their inspired moments, intuitively realized similar truths which were initially imbedded in the Vedic mantras and hymns, and later developed in the Upanishads into great spiritual truths as universal as any law of natural science. Seers and sages, poets and artists of all ages have employed this tool to optimum results. Science of Soul, which is extolled in the Gita as the highest of all scientific knowledge, has successfully employed this tool to bring light of knowledge to mankind.
Our book tries to create a synthesis between the knowledge of science with the knowledge of Vedas, Upanishads and Gita to reveal the intuitive understanding of the soul. The readers would like to read the book for getting a bird’s eyes view of the scientific methods of investigations, the concept of knowledge and the essence of Vedas, Upanishads and Gita.
The book is divided into seven chapters which are:-
1: The Basic Principles of Aatmic Science (Science of Soul)
2: The Essence of Knowledge
3: The Vedas – Embodiment of Knowledge
4. The Upanishads – Treasury of Spiritual Truths
5. Srimad-Bhagwad-Gita – The Bible of Mankind
6: The Essence of Science
7: The Key Theories of Aatmic Science

An extremely well written and structured book about developing one's spiritual intelligence for innovation, leadership and happiness. Awdhesh Singh writes with knowledge, wisdom and an open heart, accompanied by fantastic parables, stories and quotes from various different cultural sources.
If I had read this book when I was eighteen, I would probably be praising it from the rooftops, for it's only when you're new to an idea, or you first find a writer mirroring your own beliefs and thoughts, that you can get truly excited about it. Twenty years on, and I've read my fair share of soul help type books, so the majority of this book wasn't anything new to me. But that's the beauty of books like this. In some genre markets it can feel like there are a million copycats, but within the 'new age' faction, there's always room for another book like this, because as a reader, you'll resonate with different parts at different times on your soul path through life. So, whereas I recognised that I'd personally 'mastered' some aspects of what the author calls 'spiritual intelligence', there were also parts which retold me truths I haven't yet got right- such as desires and discipline.
It was part four that I found the most insightful and connected with: applying spiritual intelligence. Especially the parts on creativity and leadership. For what is all this soul knowledge about if not to create a better world? This book makes things simple. 'God' is inside of us. Know thyself and you'll know 'God'. See others as yourself, lead others as yourself and make leaders of them. Good old fashioned soul knowledge that is much needed in the world right now. Bravo Mr. Singh!

"The Secret Red Book of Leadership" contains the hidden truths of leadership bitter or sweet revealed like never before!
Great leaders are like icebergs. They conceal more than they reveal. Indeed, mystery, and the art of retaining it, is integral to leadership. Leadership, then, is more an art than a science. It is not a reality that you can touch, feel and measure, but an illusion that is created by many tricks, which you should be able to learn and practise in a way that others are not able to grasp. This book, written by a serving officer of Government, is an eye-opener for anybody who aspires to be a leader, at whatever level nation, community or a small social group; and in whatever sphere business, politics or administration.
The book is getting released in India in November 2014 and all over the world in May 2015.
