Charlie Spillers

What a fascinating look inside of the life of an undercover agent. This is a well-written book about a man who was able to keep his life compartmentalized in such a way that very few people can. I've always heard that most agencies only keep their officers that deep for a period of five years. This was back in the 70's before they realized what a toll it can take on a person's life. I can't imagine how Mr. Spiller's dealt with all his different personas.
This is a great read and it also gives the reader a glimpse of how far law enforcement has progressed over the years.
