I received a free e-copy of this book through the goodreads giveaway. This is my honest opinion and is in no way affected by this.
This story mostly seems to follow Charity. Although Scythe, Beast, and Gideon are also large characters in the story as well. The book started out really promising, I was really getting into it and then it shifted. What started out a great possiblity to a unique and intriguing story ended with me struggling to finish it.
The magic in the book seems very forced. It just comes from nowhere with no real explanation as to how the characters are able to use it. The books ends without any conclusion to anything. I know its a series but I still would have expected a conclusion.
All in all I don't think ill continue to follow this series.… (meer)
