I give this book a big thumbs up! It is exactly what it says it is on the front cover; letters written to pastors' wives; and especially for those who have left seminary behind and find their husbands beginning their first ministry. I have been a pastor's wive for many years though and I very much appreciated all it had to offer me, so it is not just for those beginning in ministry. I plan to get copies for each of my daughters (be it by birth or by marriage). There are 17 letters written by pastor's wives (and one pastors' daughter). The letters are very encouraging, personal, practical, and at times very convicting. I loved the wisdom and insights of each one of these ladies and highly recommend it. It deals with keeping your priorities straight, humility, the tongue, hospitality, friendship, respecting your husband, handling criticism and conflict with the church, and the list could go on and on.
