Full disclosure: I am a Wawa fanatic. Having said that it is a fascinating company with great customer loyalty. The book is written by a past CEO and covers their 50 year history. It is a company that has simple but powerful core values that they live up to. They have resisted taking the company private, treat their employees as important, and expand at a measured pace. While the companies values appear conservative they are risk takers and don't shy from embracing change.
The book is filled with stories about their commitment to the community and it seems very real. I was left with impression that if every company was run like Wawa the public would have a much better impression of business people.
This book is not just for the Wawa loyal. Anyone interested in business and anyone interested in some good human interest stories will appreciate this book. You will also learn what Wawa means.

I found the book very informative not only about the company but employee relationships and the relationships with customers and how much they love Wawa and how much Wawa offers.
