Marissa and Lukah meet in a warehouse where she had been dragged by a group of men and raped. Lukah saves her and takes her home with him to try to calm her fears and protect her. His home is very elaborate, on the outskirts of town behind security gates. It is beautifully furnished and after taking a cleanisng bath, Marissa wanders through its many rooms in search of Lukah. What she finds instead are his pets. Several large but tame black panthers! One leads her to a bedroom and by leaping on the bed, encourages her to lie down and rest.

The next morning, Lukah takes her home. She agrees to go to dinner with him the next week. After a week spent in torrid dreams of her own, Marissa and Lukah meet for dinner. He takes her to his cabin where the wine and dine and Marissa decides that he needs to make love to her to help her get over the rape. He is happy, but knows it is too soon for her - she sleeps and, as he changes into his true self, the panther runs wild in the forest.

This is a well-written book. Great sex!! Nasty relatives. Secrets hidden and revealed. Unsavory characters after the heroine. What more could you want. Go ahead, download and read, it's well worth your time.!… (meer)
