I really liked the first 75% of this kinky and smutty "romance", but the last quarter just deflated the experiece for me. Maybe I'm just not the intended audience being all vanilla and shit, but the experience just wasn't the same after the piss drinking incident. The book also tried really hard to portay emotional turmoil on both sides, but it just fell flat in the end.

Two stars may make it seem like this book is bad but I don't think it really is, I just didn't like it. The editing wasn't great and there were several obvious spelling or grammar mistakes. I didn't love what the author did with the biology in this book. Brett is an omega and this means his pheromones make a bunch of people attracted to him and I just don't like when that's an element of a characters attraction. So in summary, this just wasn't for me.

Indescribably good

Tender, coming of age love story. ‘Nick’s Awakening’ traces the evolving love story of Nick and his dad Stan. Hot enough to set panties ablaze and packed with enough emotion to require tissues. So good. So very good.

Poor Hunter. He really just needed someone to help him and love him. Yeah, he was stupid and made a stupid mistake, but at least he managed to pull himself out of it. Carson was pretty much perfect for him though, and there really is some kind of beautiful symmetry to the two of them ending up together.
