I LOVED this book. I loved the choose your own ending books. There were many ways to die and I killed the better part of a day choosing the wrong endings :) It was suspenseful and exciting :)
Set during the Industrial Revolution, this is the story Nick. Once a child laborer, he landed in jail, torn away from the woman he loves. Serendipitously he escapes, along with an inventor. Together, they seek to overthrow the man who sent Nick to jail and stole his woman.
This book was full of cliché’s and stereotypes. Nonetheless it was a pretty good read. It was interesting to see how the author blended the idea of Santa Claus and The Christmas Story together. It moved at a fairly decent pace and held my attention.… (meer)

This read like a video game, with many choices and one main sequence of correct answers. I liked the unusually casual morbidness of this book.
Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten.I have never read a choose your own path kind of book. It was great! I died about 7 times before I got to the end and then went back and read the parts I didn't read! I truly liked this book and can't wait to read another one!
