Terukazu Akiyama

This book is a third in the series, 'Treasures of Asia', printed by Albert Skira. The book traces and illustrates the long development of Japanese painting as it is best understood in the West, and to bring light the latest results of art scholarship in Japan itself.

Subject matters are divided by painting styles, rather than periods, to respect the unity of each type of painting studies.
