This is a good little book for the short number of pages. The pictures are good, and the blurbs are pretty good. Has a bit of a liberal slant, but that's okay. Good illustration of why the majority of the population base is very independent and do-it-yourself and resilient. Wish it was longer and went more in depth into some of the other aspects of historic Boise, more about the people, society, architecture, newpapers, innovations, businesses, etc, and more about the area in general...like geology, geothermal, that sort of thing. But perhaps that was beyond its scope.… (meer)
