An enjoyable book that explores how a garden changes of its own accord over the course of a decade. The author/gardener talks at great length about how quite often people need to rethink their original garden design in light of ten years of growth. There are also chapters about soil composition, growing zones and climate, and mulching/composting/fertilizing/and pest control. This book is more about garden design and change and should not be taken up with a thought that one will learn a great deal about specific plants.
