Lizzie goes back in time to 1859, 110 years earlier than her present time, by going through the light as she and her boyfriend, Ben, are camping on Brown Mountain in North Carolina.
Having heard about the lights in North Carolina folklore, I looked forward to reading this book and I'm so glad I did. Well worth my time spent reading. I learned so much about the smallpox epidemic, about mountain herbs, the underground railroad, slave trade, and mountain healers. So looking forward to reading more books by C.C. Tillery.… (meer)
