Pamela Tola

Pamela Tola is a student at the Finnish Theatre Academy. In the book she interviews her fellow students and famous Finnish actors and actresses about the reasons behind their choice in profession. Every person is also pictured with a beautiful photograph taken by Tola.

The book was a good reminder that every person goes through mostly the same difficulties in life. I am not alone with my fears and feeling of inadequacy. Even actors, who seem so composed and in control, have to struggle with their lives. But still they go on with their creative work.

This book has made me think about creative work in a different way. It is not important, whether I will learn to play my instrument, paint, or write so good that everybody thinks I'm great. As long as I feel good learning, and creating.… (meer)
