A fascinating book writen by two Old Alleynians discussing (and debunking) many conspiracy theories from the death of Tutankhanmun to the iraq war.½

I read this on a whim, and was amazed at how much I learned. Partly, it was a great crash course in history (forcing me to go back and review a lot of history). But mostly, it was a great review of all the different theories surrounding historical events. In some cases, the author flat-out says that a theory is crazy and there's no way that could work because...
But he also has an interesting writing style that is well-matched for this kind of book. He'll start describing something, making me think "Wow, this is a far-out theory. How can anyone believe this?" And that will be the TRUE part. I need to read this one at least one more time after doing that history review. It is a very dense book, but a page-turner.½
