Nice to see an unscripted side of Carlin - even his Last Words read like his stage act (but I still laughed,)
This book was just amazing. I've always loved George Carlin and to see this side of him was fantastic. It's heartbreaking to see the love they had for each other and now he's gone. The day they meet again in Jupiter will be a joyous one indeed, I wish I could see it! Now I'm even more mad at myself for not going to see him live prior to his death. I'd see he come here every Aprl for about 5 or 6 years and never got tickets. The year I decided to splurge on myself and get myself tickets for my birthday (which is in May, a week after George's, (go Taurus!!), he died before the performance. I was so sad. He was a great man and a great comic> For a tear-jeri biography that will have you saying "Awwwww" a lot, you need to read this hook.

The only thing I learned from this book is that George Carlin was apparently quite in love with Sally Wade. Unfortunately, the book consists almost 100% of notes scribbled by Carlin on scrap paper as to how much he loved Wade. Over and over. I was hoping for some humor and/or something a little more informative about Carlin's last decade. Not found here.
