Liked it loads, but Chase was a serious douche in parts and his behaviour and Elijah's acceptance of it was not cool. Made me feel pretty uncomfortable at times.

Liked the premise and story other than that. Definitely an author I'd read again.

After my last read, Something Like Autumn, left me bawling my eyes out, I needed something that left me smiling. This fit the bill perfectly. Unapologetically sappy, but I loved it nonetheless.

Wow is all I can say. What a Great Novel. From beginning to end, this story gripped me.
Elijah is a young man on the run...running from his wealthy family and all their restrictions...running from Harvard, where his Father is forcing him to be a Business Major so he can take up the reins in the family business...running from his fears and most of all, what path in life should he choose.
He escapes as far as his old truck can take him...which ends up in a small Nebraska town and into the sights of Chase, a farm owner that has his own demons.
The author takes time in building the character's and at one point i really wanted to grab Chase and shake him out of his depression...and smack him for being a Dick to Elijah...but it's really understandable whne you realize the emotion's that are built up in this character.
He is a roller coaster of emotions and puts poor Elijah through hell.
But I loved these character's and this story.
Beautiful and heartbreaking. Tender. Real. I can go on and on.
Wow, one of the best books I have read in this Genre.
Highly recommended.
Awesome.
Deserving of the 5 Stars that I rarely give out to Contemporary Fiction.
Thank you to the Author for this great reading experience.
