I needed an angsty f/f romance because, well, sometimes I just do. This took care of that need but there were a lot of things that didn't make sense with the professional aspects and the epilogue didn't do it for me. And that damn "city!" So many mentions of being in the city, working in the city, having a show in the city, stuff in the city. But the city has no name. Just "The City" which, after a while, gets pretty annoying...

I did nearly DNF because Elizabeth starts out as an awful person, but she does change for the better.
The writing isn’t great and dialogue can be a little awkward, but overall an enjoyable story.
