This is a cute little book about babies who come in a boat on a little Island. An old woman takes care of them till their mother comes backs. She realizes that its not that easy but their mothers come just in time.

This book is about a lonely old couple who craves the company of children. I thought that it was really cute and liked the illustrations in the book. I would read this to children who are aged 5-6 years old.

Nellie sends her grandma a note that says she is going to be a bumblebee in the school play. Grandma knits Nellie a sweater to wear in the play. When, Nellie gets the sweater, she wants to wear it immediately and often. She keeps getting it dirty and her mother keeps washing it. The story is very funny and the illustrations are amusing too. My daughter loves this book. She does not want to return it to the library.

A delightful and nonsensical story about a lighthouse keeping, painter, grandmotherish woman who is visited for a day by a boatful of babies.
