This book is an quaint UK-centric history of farming and livestock practices from the dawn of man to "present" with present being 1943.

At 144 pages it's not long but the writer doesn't exactly paint a vibrant picture so I'm not sure you'd really want it to be much longer than this - if not for the interesting facts you'd fall asleep reading the dry prose.½
