The second edition I have is, gratefully, outdated.-- as were the books that I read in the 1990s (when this book was released) that had been written in the 1970s. I know that a common lament is "nothing has changed", but, in my eyes, a LOT has changed. While misogynistic policies and politicians, unfortunately, still have a broad following in our culture, the power and voice of the anti-misogynist population has increased to where we are no longer a marginalized minority. Whether you consider yourself a feminist, an LGBTQ+ activist/ally, diversity advocate, or any other advocate of a non-discriminatory/ "live-and-let-life" philosophy...I thank you.
