Very much geared to British growing conditions, so be forewarned if you are attempting to grow primulas in the United States. Also very heavily biased towards Primula auricula. Although the gold-centered and gold-laced strains are absolutely stunning, they are not the easiest plants to grow. This volume does cover some of the other primula species found in general cultivation, but is not as thorough as it could be. Lovely colour plates, though.
