Legends of the Northern Paiute: as told by Wilson Wewa door James A. Gardner
This is the culmination of a cool project to preserve the previously unrecorded Northern Paiute legends. Wilson Wewa is a spiritual leader and keeper of traditional culture who partnered with James Gardner to record, transcribe, and edit 21 previously unpublished stories of the Warm Springs Paiute. The stories pass on tribal visions of the origins, values, and daily lives of animals and humans in their spiritual and natural environments.
