Unfortunately Dax has been “turned” and Buffy is now in the hands of Vlad and his pack of sex-hungry vampires. This is an enjoyable tale that carries all the paraphernalia of the “romantic vampire” sub-genre, with sexy, powerful, but ultimately horror-free vampires to the fore. "Getting Witchy” (2012) by Cat Wilder from Smokin’ Hot Press features Gloria, a “good witch”, who leads a coven of good witches. Being good witches the coven is charged with protecting the innocent and defending them against a coven of wicked witches. The witches have a multitude of spells at their disposal, but appear most keen to use their powers for sex. When Gloria is captured by the wicked witches they immediately put a sexual enchantment on her and we begin to find out exactly how far a good witch will go – luckily Gloria doesn’t seem all that keen to resist the effects of the spell. The overall story is a bit silly, with a plethora of witches and the detail of their universe to pick up on. It is, however, a fun read, light in tone and eventually appropriately raunchy in all the right places.… (meer)
