This book is great for early emergent readers. I really like how it is an easy to read informational book. I think that it is great that this book has big, clear pictures. I also like that the sentences are short and simple. Sentences such as “Some leaves turn colors in the fall” paired with a large picture of colored leaves helps a young reader to easily understand the information that they are reading. The main purpose of this story is to teach the reader about leaves.
