I learnt the Key themes in Chinese Culture, And it seems to be true of a lot of Asian cultures. I do not want to paint a broad-brush. Another question that came up in my mind was, What are the implications of those cultural thought/assumptions?
If Honor is made as the highest standard for every decision making, then the society tends to look down on people who are below their standard. There's so many examples.
Jackson asks us to be humble and learn from each other. I value a lot of input from outside perspective. I would recommend this book, only if someone is into Theology, Cross-cultural communications. It really takes a lot of abstract thinking, experience to understand it.
Overall -- I enjoy sharing about what I have learnt, and always want to learn from people.
