Upon hitting the ripe old age of 49, in the midst of perimenopause, I started reflecting on where I have been and where I am going. I was trying to grasp what was happening to my body, and how quickly time was flying. I was hangry and moody which did not help. After waking up every day grumpy because nothing fit, I was determined to change my mindset and appreciate the journey. Other phases of life had their downsides too. For instance, going through puberty was awful, finding a significant other was challenging too.
