Anastasia with her husband Ryan are sent to the Russian held Kuril Islands in the North Pacific Ocean to stop the UK being involved in a nuclear holocaust against the Russian Federation and China.

They get aboard the UK aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth which is in the Sea of Okhotsk. On the opposite side of the Kuril Islands are a large number of Russian Federation and Chinese warships with submarines from both countries.

Anastasia finds her Russian warship carrying two Thermonuclear Russian Federation ICBMs to the Kuril Islands with a number of undesirables. Anastasia and Ryan must rescue the wives of the abducted UK physicists, put them on a plane back to the UK before locating their husbands and stop a nuclear war. When Anastasia is captured by Russians, it is up to Ryan to save her and get her safely off a radioactive Russian warship before they fathom out who is telling the truth, who is not who they say they are. There is much more to this war and spy thriller than just a nuclear explosion, it goes back 500 years in the UK's past, and the French want their just revenge at all costs, even if they need to use the new USSR Uprising to initiate it.

Anastasia is even more romantic than before and has a huge sexual appetite for her husband Ryan. With Anastasia taken seriously ill, there is nothing Ryan will not do to save her life and that includes taking her to Paris in one of their Mikhailov latest Orbs at ten time the speed of sound. The in-depth romance between Anastasia and Ryan, the love they have for each other, their sexual feelings towards each other have all the makings for a spy novel with plenty of action, and of course, total destruction.

Alexandr and Grigoriy, brothers are spies for the Russian Federation SVR and teach their children their trade. Victor, 19 needs an operation he cannot get in Russia without having the entire family executed. Just before their planned defection, they are told their eldest daughters, Ekaterina and Natalye, must remain in St. Petersburg. After saving the life of their Vice President in Paris, they are killed in a planned plane explosion by the CIA. They get to CIA Langley, while their two daughters become lesbian lovers in Russia. They invent the first Quantum Computer, taking their huge Starships, to distant planets, and inhabit the Moon.

In the UK Anastasia is given a bodyguard, Ryan, an expert in languages from Australia. He is thought to be timid but likes Anastasia. He is armed, Anastasia wears a thigh holster with a Russian Gloc.

One evening, Anastasia asks Ryan to take out the driver of her parents' car. She is sure he is a spy. Ryan kills the driver and is looked on in a different light. The following day, he escorts Anastasia to NUUK Greenland to retrieve a Quantum Computer. While wating to meet their contact from Russia, She sees a jewellers and thinking of her past, she asks Ryan to buy her an engagement ring and two wedding rings to make their cover look authentic.

By the afternoon they are married, the following night, they meet a group of people, who seem very friendly and very touchy. When they return to their hotel room, Ryan removes the slips of paper from their bodies revealing the date they will get help to rescue Ekaterina and Natalye

Two weeks later they are in Russia in a firefight, to get the Sisters out of Russia with ten couples onto a US Submarine. When it looks like they will all die, the people they met in Nuuk, help fight the Russians, then three Australian fighter jets take out two Migs, allowing the Submarine to get free.

It is then, Anastasia realises the power her husband can yield, as she learns, he is a Captain of the Australian Air Force attached to NATO. He yields as much power and command as her father can.

On their return to the UK. Anastasia and Ryan are asked by the Director of MI6 if they will carry out missions for them. A month later they are given their first job, continued in The Nuclear Incident
