I've so many books and little time to read them. I was an English major, so my bookshelves are filled with everything from Shakespeare, Chaucer, and Hemingway to Popular YA and children's books like Roald Dahl's classics, John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, and basically everything Richelle Mead has ever written (I'm still waiting on The Eye of Andromeda...). Also, thanks to Outlander, I have become a fan of historical fiction. You'll also find plenty of urban/paranormal fantasy by authors such as Kelley Armstrong and Rachel Caine. There's also a shelf or two dedicated to folklore and mythology. As you can see I'm a bit of a reading omnivore.

My name's Alex and I'm an INFJ. I am in school to become a librarian ( my MLIS studies begin online in August 2022). I wrapped up my B.A. in English just as Covid struck the world in 2020. It was a great final semester btw... =| My dream job is to be a youth and children's librarian in my local community. Although it took me a bit longer to figure out what I wanted to do in life, I believe I have found my calling, and I look forward to pursuing a career in librarianship. I grew up and currently live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, but I would like to move to South Carolina or Tenessee in the near future because I'm not too fond of the freezing cold North East winters. My favorite color is green, with purple being a close second. When I'm not reading or writing, you'll either find me hanging out with my family or fiddling with one of my multitudinous craft projects (sewing, pottery, candle making, painting, etc.).
