Chaotic but taking shape!

Author of twenty (nearly twenty-one) novels of fantasy, gothic vampire romance, alternative history and the supernatural. My titles include A Taste of Blood Wine, A Dance in Blood Velvet, The Dark Blood of Poppies. My contemporary fantasy Elfland won the Romantic Times Award for BEST FANTASY NOVEL, and my Dracula sequel Dracula the Undead won BEST GOTHIC NOVEL from the Dracula Society. The Amber Citadel was shortlisted for the British Fantasy Society BEST NOVEL award. Other books include A Blackbird in Silver and The Court of the Midnight King (about Richard III). I live in the Midlands (UK) with my husband Mike, my mum, and too many books. Other interests include reading, talking about books and writing, going to SF/ fantasy conventions, arts and crafts, and travelling.
