My passion is history, and how it affects, and reflects, the present. For relaxation I enjoy fast-paced thrillers, crime & mysteries, romantic dramas and the supernatural. I also read widely of non-fiction books to support the research, so I've an eclectic mix on my shelves, both here and at home.

I'm an English novelist and writer of over 70 short stories, living on the misty Yorkshire coast of England, knee-deep in history and surrounded by ghosts.

I'm a multi-genre writer, so my canon of work reflects historical, contemporary, horror, SF, mainstream, romance and... classic Western. I'm currently finishing the final book in the contemporary mythic fantasy trilogy 'Torc of Moonlight'.
