The library of New England Classical Academy is an ever-growing collection of textbooks and classic texts used in the teaching of school classes and the enrichment of both students and teachers.

From Pre-K to 8th grade, the Academy curriculum is based up on the Core Knowledge series of books, so much of our library supplements that course.

The high school grades are centered upon the study of classical texts, from the pre-Socratics and ancient authors to the present day. Works are studied first in translation, and at the highest level, in their original languages; the Latin curriculum ends with an AP-level course studying the Virgil's Aenied in Latin.

New England Classical Academy is an independent, coeducational day school in the Catholic tradition. We are located in historic Claremont, New Hampshire, near the Vermont border.

The Academy offers a rich, integrated PreK-12 curriculum. The Lower School curriculum draws on the acclaimed Core Knowledge Sequence, providing a strong foundation of knowledge on which to build. In the Upper School, students follow a classical course of study, centered on the study of Latin, Greek, and mathematics, and including courses in rhetoric and both formal and informal logic. Humanities Seminars bring the Great Books to life in engaging round-table discussions. Students at all levels participate in our vibrant Arts and Athletics programs.

The Academy's rigorous college-preparatory curriculum provides young people with the intellectual tools to succeed academically. Our teachers strive to create an atmosphere conducive to high academic achievement and to the development of personal responsibility and self-discipline. Students leave the Academy well prepared for college, career, and home life, and alive to the richness and depth of the culture to which they are the heirs.
