Rebooted author, freelance writer, artist and teacher of Reiki.

Back in 2005 I wrote the book ‘Reiki Jin Kei Do: The Way of Compassion & Wisdom’ and a bunch of articles for various magazines and journals on the subject of Reiki. The book is still regarded as the standard text on that tradition of Reiki and still sells pretty well.

I’ve spent a long time immersed in the world of Reiki, having set up a now defunct international forum called ‘Reiki Jin Kei Do International’ (now the name of my own Reiki website: www.reikijkdinternational.com), founded ‘Reiki Jin Kei Do UK’ and edited a Reiki journal called ‘Focus’ for five issues.

But I do have a life outside of writing and Reiki. My other great passion is art. I set up a global video arts project, back in the pre-smartphone days called ‘12seconds for Peace’, which was threatening to go viral, but circumstances blocked me and it got put on the shelf. One day I am going to reboot that project as it’s still got a huge potential.

A lot of my life was spent teaching art, but now I have come to my senses and packed that in to devote myself fully to the things that drive my passion: writing, art and Reiki.

I am currently living in Egypt, working on a novel and writing articles for various magazines on veganism (no, I don’t eat animal corpses), Reiki, art education and anything else that takes my fancy.
