The Friends' Nature Reference Library is located inside the Kraft Room at the Nature Center and has various resources accessible to the public for on-site use only. These include identification guides on plants and animals, books on natural history, picture books for children and much more in the process of being organized! Please stop by and visit during Nature Center hours which are 9am to 4 pm daily.

The mission of the Friends of Tryon Creek is to conserve and enhance the natural resources and promote educational, interpretive and recreational programs of Tryon Creek State Natural Area. Friends of Tryon Creek State Park work in partnership with the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department and are committed to the stewardship of Tryon Creek State Park by building connections to the natural world that lead to knowledge and protection of all natural places through educational programs, preservation and restoration activities, volunteer opportunities and recreational experiences.
