My library consists of two full-length novels, Empty Seats, and A Few Bumps, self-published in 2017 and 2023, respectively.

I have also written several short stories included in my library.

Following a forty-five-year-plus career in public relations/marketing/media relations, I decided to try my hand at fiction. I am a self-published author, debuting with Empty Seats, a coming-of-age novel with baseball as the backdrop, following the careers of three minor leaguers trying to overcome challenges to make it into the big leagues. The second novel, A Few Bumps, is a complete departure from the first. It's a romance focusing on two people who meet by chance on an airplane during a snowstorm a few days before Christmas. With airplanes grounded, the woman finds herself stuck in a town where she knows no one. She has very little money and no place to stay. The man invites her to stay with his family. Little does she know that his mother is finicky and will be keeping an eagle eye on the two of them as they begin falling for one another. The book also discusses addiction and rehabilitation. And an appearance by a mysterious woman who turns out to be a ghost enhances the story.

I have also written several short stories--Handprints, The Genius and the KGB, The Audition, and Teacups.

Since 1982, I have been the folk music disc jockey on the Albany, NY-based National Public Radio affiliate. I held a similar position in Worcester, Massachusetts, prior to moving to my current location. In 2019, Folk Alliance International inducted me into its prestigious Folk Dj Hall of Fame. I am a singer/songwriter and have produced one CD, "Singing Along with the Radio." The local music scene recognized my contributions to music by including me in the Thomas Edison Music Hall of Fame in 2023.

I play competitive tennis and volunteer as a reader in a local school district. I have been married to the same man for fifty years. We live in Schenectady, New York with our dachshund, Oscar. We have two adult children and six grandchildren.
