I have over 600 cookbooks, ranging from 1846 to the present. I also have dozens of books about food history in my private collection.

I retired in July 2007 at the age of 68. I work parttime as a contract writer, writing about computer industry or robotics subjects. I also sell out-of-print cookbooks on line at www.biblio.com, under the name Compelling Perspectives Cookbooks. My real interest is the intersection of food and history.
